Upon entering Sagarmatha, I was immediately immersed in the warm and inviting ambiance reminiscent of Nepal's rich cultural heritage. The restaurant's décor, adorned with traditional Nepali artifacts and warm lighting, created an atmosphere that felt both cozy and exotic. The aroma of fragrant spices and sizzling dishes filled the air, igniting my anticipation for the culinary delights that awaited. |

My partner and I took advantage of one of the Groupon vouchers for $39 which, according to the spiel, was a saving of $60 - DEFINITELY NOT. The curry was average - we were restricted to one of 6 main dishes each, with 1 serve of curry and 1 serve of bread between 2 people (they were only $3.50 per serve and rice is not exactly a luxury ingredient). With the two curries amounting to $40.00, rice and bread $7.00, and two glasses of house wine at around $6.00 each (not good wine), actual total value is less than $60.00. If the management thinks that this special will get more bums on seats then they are deluding themselves. Atmosphere very tired and lack-lustre, with slow service. |

What a rip-off. The portions were tiny - my chicken dish had three or four grisly pieces of what was supposed to be chicken (more like road kill). Food tasteless. Service slow (only about 3 other tales were there). Curry very mild and "garlic" in rita bread non-existent. Our party of 4 felt like going to another, real restaurant when we finished. The owner was surly and argumentative. |
