we have been regular customers for many years and was very disappointed with our meal today !!! First of all we were served bread that was all dough and not fully done ---- and then the twice baked potato was too done and had way too much sour cream in it, and then the fried clams in the "Fisherman's" platter was so tiny and had lots of shells ..... |

My husband and I have had several difficult years, dealing with illness and car accidents and things beyond our control. However, we make a substantial effort to dine at Bay Haven at least 3 times a year no matter what is going on. Our problems dissolve the minute we walk through the doors and we feel like we are on our honeymoon again (which doesn't happen anywhere else)!! The Fisherman's Platter is our favorite and we dream about Bay Haven's quality food during the times of the year we cannot go there. My husband knows good food and the portions are pretty generous as well. I wish I could eat there every night. If I win the NH Lottery, I will have the food delivered.
God Bless everybody who works there and eats there. I miss Bay Haven and hope to get there soon. My husband hasn't been well but throug the grace of God, he will recover and we will have our Bay Haven Medicine to bring us both back to life. : |

Have been many times. we are snowbirds and when in NH in the summer we eat here several times.When mom comes up to visit from Florida we take her there for the Lobster Roll. Not cheap but the best.My only complaint is that you have to wait sooo long most of the time. The wait was over an hour last time so we traveled up the road a bit and found another seafood restaurant that was also very good. |

We have visited Bay Haven a number of times (traveling about 1 hours distance) and always more than satisfied, last night service was a mess and slow. Our portions of dinners we always get were cut in half. We requested to speak with the manager and were told none on site. Have referred numerous people to this restaurant in the past, not sure this will continue. Only explanation by the waitress was cook or cooks were new. Not exceptable! |

My brother and sister in law put us onto this place, it has the absolutey best scallops we have ever had. Service was prompt and friendly. Try the scallops, everything else we saw looked good too, but the scallops were fantastic! We traveled from Clay, NY. all thru New England, from Maine to Cape Cod, and never had the same quality and freshness we encountered here. Not to mention, the portions were huge also. We will be back soon. |

This is absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. The restaurant is outdated as far as decor, poorly cleaned. Crumbs all over the floor and in corners. If Restaurant Impossible could come to this place for a new update, it would surely help! The food was terrible. The lobster meat stuffing in the baked haddock was so mushy and under cooked and there was way too much of it. My green beans tasted like fish. I will never come back to this place again. It needs a really good cleaning and update. The tank that held the lobsters had a dead lobster in it. It looked filthy and delapatated!! |
