I have gone here several times with family and friends, last night was a bad night. I was so looking forward to my yummy meal... I had eaten off the end piece and was working on my second piece when I noticed a thick piece of hair on my roll. I was grossed out, placed the hair on the plate & pushed my plate away in disgust and refused to finnish the rest. When the establishment was confronted about the hair.... they said they will give me 25% off but I have to pay for the rest of the meal. I was shocked by how inconsiderate these people were. You usually can not see pieces of hair in photos but this hair was THICK. The part that bothers me the most was I did not even get a chance to enjoy my meal & had to pay for it. Extremely rude and incosiderate on the mangements' part. |

The sushi I had tasted good because on the day I ate there they had acquired some fatty tuna. It wasn't pretty though. I had the shrimp bento lunch and it was a good value at 8 bucks. The tempura in it is swimming in oil but overall it was good. Service was fast and pretty good. Will probably give it another chance. |

Had a great experience at this new restaurant. The specialty sushi rolls were amazing in both taste and presentation. Better than other sushi restaruants I have been to in larger cities. Will for sure be going back, I hope Pocatello can keep this place in business. |

Every bit as good as any sushi place in Seattle. I am so glad to finally see Pocatello get with it! The service was great, the wait time was reasonable and the food was great. Try the Miso Salmon. |

Other reviewers are being a little harsh here. This is the only place in 40 miles to get sushi to order and it is good. The sushi that I got was well made and presented nicely. They have specialty rolls and options for sashimi and nigiri. They don't have a ton of other Japanese fare, but offer a full teppanyaki menu. I think those who complain about service things like time and sushi coming out at different times, don't have a ton of familiarity with sushi. It comes out as it is made. Sure this isn't the most authentic, but nobody thinks Buddy's is real Italian either. Please don't run this place out of business too Pocatello. Leave it to the provincial people we have heard from here to knock a place trying to bring a new cuisine to town. This is a good little sushi joint, nothing more, nothing less. |

Horrible service! Sloppy, flavorless sushi! Our waiter was rude, he gave two people at our table their food an hour before giving the rest of our table our food. No apology, no compensation, spent more time flirting with a girl at the bar. The sushi rolls were sloppy, and not very good. Soup was cold, drinks never filled, salads forgotten about. This place is horrible, and not worth the money or your time. This place sucks!!!
